Children & Families

Building the developmental foundations that support learning, regulation and participation.

Focused, evidence based therapy that works at the developmental foundations beneath your child's learning, regulation and participation. Grounded in neuroscience and how the nervous system develops, it draws on sensory processing, regulation and foundational motor work to build the capacity to feel settled, capable and engaged.

Whichever program you choose, I deliver every session

I take on a small number of families at a time. Your child is not passed between clinicians or slotted into an overpacked schedule, so each session builds directly on the one before it. Below is how the work is structured, and what each program includes.

The Services

A clear, structured pathway

First we build a precise understanding of your child, then you choose how we work together. Defined programs with a clear method and clear outcomes, rather than an open ended hourly cost.

  • 30 minute Progress Review and Recommendations consultation

School Holidays

A valuable time to keep going, or to begin

School holidays do not have to mean a pause. With the demands of the school day reduced, many children have greater capacity to build new pathways and learn new tasks, and families have more flexibility to attend. It is a useful window whether you are already working with me or starting out.

Momentum holds

Skills are still consolidating between sessions, and a longer gap can mean revisiting ground already covered. Continuing through the holidays allows that consolidation to keep going.

Assessment can be more accurate

With the demands of the school day reduced, some children present with greater cognitive availability and a more organised sense of themselves, which allows for a fuller and more accurate assessment.

New routines can be trialled

Strategies are easier to establish when a family is not also managing homework, uniforms and the school run. What is built in the holidays tends to hold once term resumes.

The term ahead is prepared for

A block before term begins means a child arrives at a new year, a new class or a new school already steadier.

If weekday appointments are difficult during the school term, the holidays are often when an assessment, an initial consultation or a course of therapy can be arranged. Holiday availability is scheduled a term in advance. When you make contact, please advise the holiday period you are considering, along with your preferred days and times.

Fees & Funding

Clear, flexible ways to fund support

A full schedule of fees is shared before you begin, so the full cost is clear from the outset.

Many families claim a private health rebate, depending on your cover and extras.

NDIS

Self managed and plan managed participants are supported.

Tailored Plans

Program costs mapped out clearly from the start, so you always know where you stand.

Good To Know

Questions families often ask

A few of the practical things parents like to understand before we begin.

Do you work during the school holidays?

Yes. With the demands of the school day reduced, many children have greater capacity to build new pathways and learn new tasks, and there is more flexibility to attend and room to establish routines that carry into the term. Holiday availability is scheduled a term in advance, so it helps to advise the period you are considering early.

We cannot manage weekday appointments during term. Is there another way?

There is. The school holidays are often when we can complete an assessment, hold your initial consultation, or begin therapy properly, without asking a family to take a child out of class or add another weekday commitment. The Full Integration Intensive is built for exactly this, and individual sessions can also be blocked into a holiday period.

What happens in the first sessions?

We begin with your assessment pathway, the Comprehensive Developmental Assessment, to build a clear picture of your child, followed by recommendations tailored to their needs. From there we choose the right program together, at a pace that suits your family.

Do you offer intensive and weekly options?

Yes. The Full Integration Intensive concentrates detailed work into five consecutive days, or across two weeks where that is not possible, designed for families who cannot attend across the term and want the block completed in the holidays. The Foundational Intensive is four sessions across two weeks, laying a strong base before ongoing work begins. Integrating Individual Sessions are booked as you need them, in term or in the holidays. We will find the format that works best for you.

What happens after an intensive?

The choice is yours, and we decide together based on what your child needs. Many families choose to do a second intensive block to keep building, others take a break to let the progress settle, and others use individual sessions to consolidate and extend the progress. There is no single right path, only the one that suits your child and your family.

Where are sessions held?

Sessions are held at home and school, the environments where children feel most comfortable and where they are already living and learning. Working in these familiar spaces means we can use your own home equipment and everyday routines, which makes the work more natural, more accessible, and easier to carry through between sessions.

Is my apartment or home too small or cluttered?

Absolutely not. I only need a small space, and I will always bring everything I need. Your home is your safe space, and it is where so much of the change will happen.

How does telehealth work for children?

It is highly effective, and parents are central to it. Activities are emailed to you, and we meet over a Zoom session where you engage with your child while I guide on screen, encouraging your child through the tasks and actively coaching you through the session. A parent or another adult must be present throughout, and that active involvement is central to how the work translates into lasting change.

Will my child always see the same therapist?

Yes, always. Your child works with me directly, every session, so they receive consistent, high quality care from someone who truly knows them and their story. Children are never passed along to someone else, and that continuity helps them feel safe and helps progress hold.
